Es geht also weiter mit meinem Teil. So kamen die Sägen bei mir an. Das Blatt ist ein Muster, das Klaus immer wieder verwendet. Das kann erstmal drin bleiben.

My turn. The saws came and got a place on the bench. The fitted blade is a dummy and can stay there, while I make the original blade.

Das geölte und beschriftete Blatt. 0,3mm. Wir kennen keinen anderen, der westliche Sägen mit so dünnen Blättern macht.Die Blätter geben wir zum Beschriften an Schilling Marking.

The oiled and etched blade. 0.012" (0,3mm) We don't know anybody making western saws with thin blades like that.The laser ezchin is made by Schilling Marking.

Ich schneide nur nah an die Linie ran, weil die Schlagschere manchmal verzieht. Wahrscheinlich müsste ich sie mal schärfen.

I cut not so close to the line, because the shear sometimes pull to one side. Maybe it should be sharpened.

Schwer zu sehen: Ich habe Muster mit den richtien Zahnabständen, die ich nahe an das Blatt klemme. Zahnabstand etwa 1,3mm

Hard to see: I use patterns with the correct pitch, wich I clamp close to the blade.19tpi.

Mit roter Farbe unterstütze ich die Augen bei so feinen Bezahnungen. Die Späne werden regelmäßig mit der Bürste entfernt, denn sie blenden.

I use red dye to help the eyes at the fine pitches. Remove the shavings with the brush every few strokes, to reduce reflections from the shavings

Leider kann ich den Vorgang mit meiner Kamera nei 19 tpi nicht wirklich abbilden. Ich feile jetzt die Zähne so, dass nur eine kleine Fläche stehen bleibt.

Auf diesem Bild (andere Säge, andere Kluppe) kann man aber das Prinzip erahnen.

Unfortunatly my camera doesn't fetch the details. I file the gullets until only little flats are on top of the teeth.

Dann wird das Blatt mit Folie beklebt.

Then I glue some tape to the blade.

Das Klebeband schützt das Blatt während des Schränkens...

Dann richte ich die Zahnspitzen ein letztes Mal mit dem Arkansas translucent ab und Feile die verbliebenen Flächen weg.

Then I joint the teeth with the arkansas translucent and file the gullets until the flats disappear.

Der Feilgrat wird ebenfalls mit dem Arkansas entfernt. Der läuft auf dem Tesafilm und sorgt für eine absolut gleichmäßige Schränkung.
